The International Olympic Committee — which often seems to operate in a parallel universe — finally got around to admitting maybe bringing people together for the Summer Olympics was a bad idea.
I'm reluctant to make predictions (I thought newspapers were too concerned about the internet), but it's not going to surprise me if there is no baseball in 2020. The players have said they don't want to play without the fans or fly on airplanes until it's totally safe and that might take a while. Sooner or later we;ll get back to normal, but right now I'm thinking it will be later than sooner.
