Great piece Lee and I couldn't agree more. I'd go on a straight diet of Ramen and hot dogs before I'd give up my subscription.

Well stated..! Some sources however are more out there and you think they would be ignored. But sadly they aren't

Nope, when stories are being written reporters are told to find someone on the other side to talk to which is fine, but I also think it's OK to point out they have absolutely no experience or expertise in the topic.

As I said before, I mostly followed RT news- their “ In Question” daily news and what I didn’t say was that RT stands for Russia Today, so you definitely get a different and to me, refreshing look at US and the world. In addition to the Kinks, I just heard Jimmy Fallon on YouTube doing, apropos to your essay, Stuck in the Middle with You. Check it out.

. And thanks for the chuckles. I’m trying to get your words out, so if you get some subscribers I want my cut.

I love the fact that you point out that there is such as thing as TOO fair. Thinking that just contributes further to people either ignoring good sources because they "don't tell the whole story" or spreading rumors as facts to make sure each side has the same exact amount of information about it, no matter whether that info's good or bad.

A few years back we had a debate on evolution in Kansas (read that however you like) and it struck me that on one side we had professors and on the other side we had religious zealots and we (the media) were treating both equally. When you hear new information it's always a good idea to consider the source. And thanks for commenting.
