So the Royals come back and win Game 4 and later that night I’m walking from the ballpark to the train station with a Kansas City Star co-worker, Kathleen Gier, and say:
On the day when you described Game 5, by coincidence, I was at an event where Dayton Moore was the speaker. I asked if he was a subscriber. Though he is not, he was interested in reconnecting with you. Give him a ring down in Arlington.
Why. not do the same for the 2004 CIndeellla team?
I think it's neat that Colon and Luke Hochevar, both big-time draft busts, got to shine in this game.
Not sure, but I think it may have been their last game in a Royals uniform.
I wish Uncle Rusty would run for President so I could vote for somebody with savvy and common sense and I could sleep through the night again.
It's been an outstanding, nostalgic trip. Wow!
Thanks, that was a very enjoyable & fun nostalgic read.

Thanks, I'll look into it.
Lee, enjoyed every one of these posts. Adding the video made remembering that series even more enjoyable.
Thanks for doing it. The folks who stayed with you got a great recap of a terrific season.
Looking forward to the other posts you will add soon.
Thanks, Bill. Glad you enjoyed it.
