I should probably mention I made the same point (well, actually, it was Rusty's point) about the connection between home runs and RBIs in an article for the Star several years ago, but the Star version did not have the jokes, insults and mild profanity that you've come to expect so this one is way better and I was reminded of all this when Hank Aaron died and thought the point was worth making again.
People let their ego get in the way and don't want to admit they don't know something, but by the time I started covering baseball my ego had its ass kicked so often it finally learned to shut up. Now if only I could apply that to the rest of my life, I'd have something.
