Thank you for “Operation Project Mission Exercise Campaign Assignment Epic Fury Freedom.” We used to laugh at some of the project names that popped up. But I have a beef: where’s all the fugly goldish crap in the Oval Office cartoon “Project Freedom”? The place looks almost respectable. And thanks for reminding me about Elmore Leonard. I read him back in my impressionable youth but hadn’t pulled him up in a while.
If you go back and re-read Elmore you will not be disappointed. Fair point about my depiction of the Oval Office, but if I start including all the Liberace/Fat Elvis/Elton John stuff, the cartoons will take forever.
