The Democratic committee to elect Harris definitely miscalculated, but I still don't understand why voters think Trump and cohorts will make the average citizen's life better.
Thanks, Elaine. I'll be interested to see how people react because it's always easier to blame others than admit you need to change (which is why I blame others whenever possible). I don't think it explains everything, but the Democrats have shifted pretty far to the right and it may have cost them this last election.
Before we go and shoot ourselves in the foot, I think it’s worth pointing out the following facts:
1) Allan Lichtman’s keys were wrong for the first time since he started using them 40 years ago.
2) The data he used to create those keys was also wrong for the first time in 180 years.
3) Trump is a pathological cheater - golf, relationships, you name it, he’s cheated at it.
4) Trump knew if he lost this election he was going to jail
5) Mary Trump is on record as saying he uncle won’t run again unless he believes the fix is in.
6) Trump said repeatedly “we don’t need your votes, we have all the votes we need.” He’s a child so his statement here is telling.
7) He has a billionaire tech bro in his pocket.
What would Occam’s razor say?
Personally, I will NEVER believe the election was on the level until independent audits via hand recounting in swing states verifies the results.
The real problem here is, as usual, Democrats, in order to demonstrative how they’re different from MAGA, have chosen to roll over on their backs and wag their tails instead of mounting even the semblance of a “wait a second, this is screwy.”

I'm right there with you. We've seen how Trump behaves when he's in the White House and I don't get why anyone wants a second helping.
I don't smoke, but if I did, I would be holding my lighter aloft for this one.

I needed an elephant trunk joke, thanks.
Always happy to be of service.
What a wit: without anesthetic hurts like a motherfucker. My hero!
