OK, I'm calling a misogyny violation: we get a picture of Hal (Mark Twain) Holbrook who lived to 95 years (couldn't hold a candle to your mom!), but there's no pic of Linda who made it only to 53 years but starred in 1975's "Linda Lovelace for President" and probably would have been better than Ford; she definitely would have been light years better than the current WH occupant.
Guilty as charged. But...I had a picture of Linda I was going to use, but Substack posts can only be so long and if you exceed that length with words or images you can't post, so I had to choose between Hal and Linda and it looks like I made the wrong choice.
Although women across America might disagree because after Linda did what she did to get famous the bedroom expectations of guys got kind of unreasonable and millions of women were saying, "You want me to do what?"
So I was danged if I did and danged if I didn't but I've noted your objection and if I think of a reason to post a picture of Linda in the near future, I will...and you're right, if she ran against Trump I'd vote for her.
We went with YouTube to save money, but then they almost immediately dropped MLB so now I have to pay for that as well so I'm not sure just how much money I'm saving.
I did sign up for Bally's last year and while their app was crap, I was able to watch the Royals. Apparently the way things work these days is "new" companies appear, like Fan Duel, and they inherit Bally's subscriber list because I received an email last week telling me I re-up'd for this season at the low price of $105.99. I was probably signing up anyway but that seems like bullshit to me.
My experience with Bally's was less than optimal, but I'll still probably sign up with FanDuel, although by now my expectations are low. (Maybe that's part of the plot.)
Okay, Lee, I've got to ask .... What's your opinion on the Royals possibly relocating their stadium? Everything I've seen seems to indicate they want to plop it down in the middle of the crossroads district in downtown Kansas City, but that would ruin that district. There'd be nothing left of it. I also can't help but wonder what Mr and Mrs Kaufman would think of their legacy being treated so callously, although I'm certainly no defender of the bazillionaires among us. 😂
...nothing personal but when it comes to baseball I'd rather watch my lawn grow. I was taken to a Red Sox/White Sox game back in the 80s, at Fenway Pahk, and by the 4th inning I was hoping for a serious storm to end it!!!

A few years ago we switched to Direct Stream for tv and we’ve been able to watch all the Royals games. Of course the price has doubled since then 🙄

I would prefer more about baseball & less politics.
Considering the current state of politics, a lot of people would agree with you.

I'm totally against it and here's a link to a lengthy article (which you may need to copy and paste) explaining why:

If that doesn't work, go to my substack and search "Why I'll Vote No on a Downtown Ballpark.

Don't let MLB find out you'd rather watch grass grow, they'll find a way to charge you.
...lol
