A while back I wrote about outfield positioning and appreciating the Routine Play and promised I’d write about spotting a bad outfielder next, but then Jason Kendall called up and told me about the Madison Bumgarner/Dan Bellino incident and suggested I write about that and Jason is always worth listening to because he’s almost always right about baseball, plus I’m 100 percent sure everybody in his family, including his wife and daughter, can kick my ass so I took Jason’s suggestion and wrote about the MadBum incident instead.
You don't mention that there only a few players that have been hit more than Kendall. He can dish it out and he can take it. Well, he dished it out to you, anyway.
Jason got hit by pitches 254 times (I think he's in the top 5) and I've got a piece about whether he should be in the HOF and how he used the HBP as an offensive weapon which most ballplayers do not have the balls to do.
He also promised me that if I got hit by one 90 MPH pitch, he'd get hit by two and after I did it (even though it was accidental) I said it was his turn and he said, "Fuck that, it looked like it hurt."
If you don't like what they charge you, feel free to charge the cashier. And remember, most fights only last a few seconds so try to get in the first punch.
That's too bad. There's a lot of valuable baseball information people don't get to see. I subscribed to the Star solely for those. I wish now that I'd printed them off.

Jason is a funny dude.
Feeling feisty after reading this. Nobody better mess with me in the vegan section of the farmers market today!

Outstanding. I miss "Judging the Royals". Are they archived anywhere?
Not really. You can find the odd article on the internet if you know what to look for, but that's about it.

If it helps, my current plan is to rewrite some of the best baseball stuff that still applies and post it here.
That is great news. I'll take whatever I can get!
