I am not a football fan, but I watch the game to feel connected to Kansas City. ❤️ even though I moved to the Kansas side of the metro in 1997, deserter that I am. 😆

The funniest meme I've seen all week reads something like "looking for some people interested in flying in a private jet to the SuperBowl and staying in a top flight hotel. It needs to be someone with a jet, tickets, and hotel money or I can't go." 🤣

I want to know what they do to hotel minibar prices. Not convinced a ticket is cheaper than telling your would-be catwoman she can have the run of it.

That opening description of the NFL is the best ever!

I miss the Rozell days.

Right on the mark. You have to be nuts to pay that kind of money to see a game. It's bad enough to get gouged for "regular" season tickets. This adds insult to injury. It is enough to make you give up on professional sports.

Congrats on your team pulling it out. (My wife lived in Kansas for a number of years, so she also was rooting for them; therefore, I also had to - even though I really didn't care which way it went - because I'm not stupid.) Anyway, I enjoyed your Bert Convey story, but I think Babe Ruth's record would have lasted a lot longer, because with that particular incentive, he might have hit 90 or 100 homes in a season.
