Ann: Don't know if you live in KC, but if you do and once it's safe to go back in a restaurant, try Harry's Country Club in River Market. They serve a "City-Fried steak" and "City-Fried chicken" with mashed potatoes and green beans and gravy so thick you could use it to spackle a house. Harry's will be on my list of places to go when the Zombie Apocalypse is over. Damn...your comment made me hungry.
Spot on!!!! 👍🏼👏🏼. I actually lived and went to school in Alabama. (dads side of our family). To this day there wasn’t much that my grandmother cooked that wasn’t the best i’ve ever eaten. Well with the exception of turnip greens and liver. Ugh no thank you!😂
Same to you, Rai. And my grandmother was a great cook, too and just about every dish she served would clog an artery. But if you have to die of something, there are worst ways to go than good food.
Forget subliminal suggestions and just hit me with chicken fried steak... Happy New Year to you and yours.
